Plates and Records is Ram Subramanian and Joann Kim. We are a human rights lawyer and a writer/foodie/random events organizer with a mission to share our love of food and community with the public. We are untrained chefs using the most fresh ingredients to make a decent meal that will hopefully make you moan in giddy goodness. Our food is comforting, nourishing, creative, and sprinkled with absurd laughter.
Plates and Records is a nomadic and themed supper club functioning monthly in various locations. Guests are required to bring a plate, a record, an empty stomach, and a good mood.
